O ur Files, Rasps, Farriers’, Black-
smiths’ and Automobilists’ Tools,
Machinists’, Carpenters’, Blacksmiths’
and Tinners’ Hammers, are made from Our
Own Production of Special Refined Clay
Crucible Steel and manufactured under
machines of Our Own Patented Construc¬
tion. These advantages, among others, added
to our long practical experience of the past,
enable us to produce a uniform quality, as well
as a high grade of goods, which are acknowl¬
edged by all who have used them to be superior
to any in the market.

The constantly increasing demand for our
goods year by year, for over three-quarters of
a century, is evidence that the dealer as well as
the mechanic appreciates the fact that the
“Best is the Cheapest." It shall be our aim in
the future, as it has been in the past, to main¬
tain the high reputation our goods have at¬
tained, by improving, if possible, their stand¬

INTRODUCTION

T his latest edition of our catalog has been
prepared with the hope that it may become
a valuable and permanent reference book on
the desk, of each one of our old customers as
well as all others who may have need for any
product of our manufacture.

Under these covers will be found an illus¬
tration together with descriptive details, of
articles we make. It has been our desire herein
to be concise yet complete, presenting that in¬
formation which we believe will enable our
friends to select the sise, kind, finish, etc., of
any desired article with the least possible effort.

To avoid unnecessary repetition hereafter let
us say here just a word about the quality and
workmanship of our complete line.

Since 1836 we have constantly striven to
better our products. In this endeavor we have
been successful as is proven by the steady, year
by year, increase in our business.

Our tools are made from our own special
refined steel and by processes developed by us
during these many years of experience. Their
design comes as the result of a thorough under¬
standing of requirements and their unexcelled
workmanship from the teachings of that old
school of mechanics which believes the best is
none too good.

Hereafter, therefore, are illustrated products
which deserve your complete confidence, and
we solicit, on this basis, our fair share of your
valuable patronage.

TOOLS

O N the following pages is shown our com¬
plete line of tools—known from one end
of the world to the other by their uniform
high quality.

Each tool is the result of many years of
study and experimentation in design. As a
result, they are noted today for their fine bal¬
ance or “feel,” as well as for their workman¬
ship. Heller Tools are made only from the
highest grade of steels—steels from our own
furnaces which are characteristically uniform
in excellency.

The care with which our dies are made as¬
sures the accuracy of each tool as it comes from
the forge, while our processes for hardening,
where required, result in products which will
deliver incomparable service.

When better tools are made, we will make
them.

And, lastly, the finish of Heller Tools jus¬
tifies the pride a man takes in owning and
using them.

Rubberi Hammers are the greatest
improvement in the hammer industry
in the last century. This rubberi or
cushion inserted under terrific pressure
acts as a shock absorber to the user. It
also keeps the handle tight at all times,
taking up whatever expansion or shrink¬
age the different climatic conditions
produce.
